Mowing

It is important not to cut the grass too low the first few times in the season. Let it recover after the winter. The grass grows most in the first part of the season, when it should be cut once or twice a week. When summer comes the growth decreases and the lawn does not need mowing so often. In the warmest months the grass hardly grows at all. After summer, growth begins again, and then decreases in the autumn and finally stops completely when the frost comes. If you get moss in your lawn you should use a scarifier and add nutrient. The scarifier removes the moss and cuts off the grass roots, which means that the lawn gets air and recovers. Moss mostly comes because the grass does not get enough air or nutrition.
